Stroke

After a stroke, parts of the brain may be damaged, but other areas can learn to take over lost functions. NeuroMovement® uses gentle, novel movements to help the brain form new neural pathways. This allows for recovery and improved coordination, even in parts of the body that were previously affected. NeuroMovement® emphasizes comfort, safety and ease, which makes it accessible, even for those who have significant physical limitations post-stroke. Instead of forcing movement, this method invites the brain to explore how the body feels and moves.
